What Club Visitor Rates Usually Cover

At most Jakarta clubs the published visitor rate includes the green fee and a shared cart, while the caddie fee is charged separately. Suvarna, Pondok Indah and Sedayu Indo also include tax, and Suvarna and Sedayu include insurance ^[2][3][4]. A caddie is mandatory at most Jakarta courses and is provided by the club, while Zora books each tee time and quotes green fees per trip on application.

Adding Bogor or Bandung

Bogor sits about 53 km south of Jakarta on the Jagorawi toll road, around 60 to 90 minutes off-peak ^[5]. Weekend traffic towards Puncak can slow the road at Ciawi and Gadog, so Bogor rounds are best planned on weekdays ^[6]. See golf in Bogor for the hill courses.

Bandung is about 145 km from Jakarta, roughly three hours by road. The Whoosh high-speed railway, opened in October 2023, runs from Halim in Jakarta to Tegalluar in about 35 to 47 minutes, with a feeder train from Padalarang into Bandung ^[7]. That makes golf in Bandung a realistic overnight extension.

When to Go Golfing in Jakarta

Golf in Jakarta is playable all year, and the drier months outside December to March are the most reliable.

Dry Season and Wet Season

Jakarta is warm all year, with a mean daily high of about 32.5 °C and a low of about 25.5 °C ^[8]. The wet season runs from December to March ^[8]. Indonesia's weather agency, BMKG, placed the 2025/26 rainy-season peak between November 2025 and February 2026 ^[9].
